Bug ID: 161809
Summary: On KDE Plasma 6, LibreOffice UI is scaled incorrectly
on HiDPI displays if the system has monitors with
different scale factors
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
The issue does not happen if the system has only one monitor or if all monitors
are set to the same scaling factor.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect 2 or more monitors with different scale factors to the system (in my
case: Monitor 0 is set to 200% scaling, Monitor 1 is set to 100% scaling)
2. Run any app of the LibreOffice suite on the display set to the higher
scaling factor (in my case: Monitor 0)
3. Observe the issue
Actual Results:
The application UI is scaled incorrectly. Most of the components are displayed
at 100% scale factor, and drop down menus are misaligned.
Expected Results:
The applications is scaled correctly and automatically adjusts to the scaling
factor of the current display
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Resetting the user profile does not fix the issue. The only way to fix the
issue is to physically disconnect the monitor set to the lower scaling factor
(in my case, monitor 1 set to 100% scaling).
