When saving a Writer document with "Numbered paragraphs + Number (Number (no
context) or Number (full context))" cross references to Word doc or docx, the
cross references are incorrectly switched to "Numbered Paragraphs + Page Number
(unstyled)" when opened again in Writer.
Writer should take open the file and have the correct "Refer using" info so
that paragraph numbering references are retained when a docx or doc is opened.
Steps.
1. Create Writer document (odt).
2. Create paragraph numbers via numbered list
3. Create cross-references to paragraphs within the document using
"Insert:Cross reference".
4. In the dialog box use "Type:Numbered Paragraphs" and "Refer Using:Number (or
Number no context or Number full context)".
5. Save the document as Word docx or Word doc.
6. Close LO
7. Start LO
8. Open the Word docx or doc document.
9. Check cross references. Note that all cross references are now "Numbered
Paragraphs with Refer using:Page number (unstyled)" instead of "Refer
using:Number"
Work around:
1. Open Word docsx or doc document.
2. Go to each cross reference
3. Right click or Edit the cross reference
4. Update to "Refer using:Number (or Number no context, Number full context)
