I was searching for such a solution but not being able to find one, i started writing it. It will probably make it in the public domain once it's as stable enough for a beta version. The problem anyway is in the use of the <cmis:propertyId> tag. In the first example there are an opening and a closing tag with no text within. The missing text is what is causing the crash, it seems hat loo is expecting some text to be there. In the second example the tag is single: <cmis:propertyId />, loo doesn't crash.
