            Bug ID: 161950
Summary: Setting to add XY shift to pasted drawing etc. objects
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]

Result of the paste in PP and Impress

When an object such as a drawing shape is copy-pasted multiple times in
Impress, the new object is inserted into the same XY position, making it
difficult to tell if the paste happened and how many times.
PP on the other hand inserts pasted shapes with a slight XY shift, making it
obvious that there is a new shape.

Adding a config option to mimic this behavior would be useful in migration
environments.

1. In Impress draw a shape
2. Copy and paste it twice
-> you have 3 shapes exactly on top of each other, and only the Navigator tells
there are 3 shapes.

3. Do the same in PowerPoint
-> the second shape is slightly shifted to the right and down as well (both by
0.42 cm in my quick test).
