                    existing document
           Product: LibreOffice

          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium

Created attachment 195177
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=195177&action=edit
suggested create button to create not existing files on purpose.

Creating of new documents is currently only possible by opening libreoffice and
using the graphical ui menu. Opening existing documents is also possible from
command line by calling

```
loffice <documentpath>
soffice <documentpath>
```
If the document does not exist yet both commands open a dialog box reporting
that the document does not exist. It would be appreciable if this box would in
addition to inform that the document does not exist in the chosen path, offer
to the option to create it at the chosen location.
