Stéphane Guillou (stragu) <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE --- Comment #4 from Stéphane Guillou (stragu) <[email protected]> --- Thanks for clarifying. Yes, it is possible to set up a bar and line chart in which two series have two different kinds of visualisation and are tied to a different Y axis: - chart type Column and Line - common Categories reference for the X axis - Insert > Axes > Secondary Axes > Y axis - In second series properties, Options > Align data series to > Secondary Y axis See example in the attachment, created with LO 24.2. But that is a bit involved, not very obvious that it is an option, and limited to bar + line, as you can see. So, based on your description: (In reply to marcusyoo from comment #2) > [...] > I want (and I can only assume others might also want) to see sets of data > series shown in a mix of column chart, line chart, ... > And whether the chart/spreadsheet was imported from xls or created anew in > calc, this mixed chart type should be supported and one should be able to > edit/modify chart types of existing chart as well as add new data series > using chart type of your choice. ... I think you are describing the enhancement request in bug 97358. Let's mark a duplicate of that one then. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 97358 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
