            Bug ID: 162107
Summary: Crash loops on startup attempting to recover a file
from a thumbdrive no longer there
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.3.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Starting up LibreCalc with about 24 docs to recover with one doc on a
thumbdrive that is no longer there, crashes the system when it can't find the
media on Linux Mint. LibreCalc closes down and then immediately attempts
reboot, with same results. No obvious way to deselect a poison file from the
list (checkboxes with the default checked, heading "Recover these files:" would
be great). Had to Discard all the files in order to get past crashing boot
sequence. Other 23 file backups appear lost.

The Document Foundation/Debian/Ubuntu 7.3.7.2/LibreOffice Community

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have .csv file on thumbdrive in Linux Mint, open it in LibreCalc
2.have multiple various .csv files open in LibreCalc
3.Hard-reboot Linux with REISUB
4.Remove thumbdrive from computer
5. Double-click and attempt to open another random .csv file
6. LibreCalc comes up, asks if you want to Recover or Discard list of files.
Hit recover button.
7. LibreCalc flashes popup screen, can't find
/media/username/thumbdrive/yourfile, system unable to continue.
8. LibreCalc reboots. Go to 6.

Actual Results:
System hung in infinite loop of asking you to recover files, then hanging upon
failure to recover, then rebooting, as long as you don't hit Discard.

Expected Results:
System should blow through not finding a recovery file automatically, with a
simple notification popup, and not get poisoned by not finding its file.

Failing that,
There should have been an option button to continue, even if media not found.

There should have also been [X] boxes on list of files to recover, to stop
attempting to recover a particular file that is poisonous.

Reproducible: Always
