Description:
If I control-click on a hyperlink, it toggles cell selection but does not open
the link. It was working a couple of weeks ago, but is not working now, so
presumably there was an update.
Tried click in different parts of the cell.
Tried different combinations of Shift, Ctrl, Alt.
Tried quitting and restarting.
Tried saving as ODS, XLS, XLSX.
Tried loading an old spreadsheet that had links.
Tried creating a new link.
Tried enable/disable Options security "need Ctrl to open hyperlinks"
Tried enable/disable Options/Calc/Compatibility/Insert hyperlink in cell not
for text in cell.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure libreoffice is not running. (ps -ax)
2. Start Libreoffice Calc
3. In cell A1, click Insert > Hyperlink
4. in Hyperlink window,
URL=https://www.libreoffice.com
TEXT=url
5. See that it really inserted a hyperlink. Hover over the "url" text in cell
A1. See the cursor change to a hand. See the URL in the popup window. Note that
the text is auto-formatted blue.
6. Ctrl-click on it. See the "hand" cursor turn into an arrow and the cell
turns blue because it is selected.
7. Ctrl-click several times. The cell selection is toggled but it does not
open.
8. Is it a hyperlink? Select cell and click the Insert > Hyperlink menu. The
info pops up and can be edited.
Actual Results:
The cell selection state was toggled. The cursor symbol changed. Nothing else
happened.
1. If I click the TEXT of the URL, the cursor changes from hand to point and
nothing else happens.
2. If I click the BACKGROUND of the cell it toggles selection state.
In the status bar I can see the number of selected cells change when I toggle
the selection state.
Restarted in safe mode, and also deleted user profile. No change, except that
LibreOffice forgot my recent documents even after I restored it.
Expected Results:
Open the hyperlink.
Reproducible: Always
