Then I have copied the string in the "unicode" variant of the example presentation, pasted it and formatted it to use the Bangal ANSI font. Below is a screenshot. The characters look still the same. I have made the same test with the "Siyam Rupali Bangla" font from https://www.easybengalityping.com/bangla/fonts. There too characters in Unicode and ANSI font look equal. I have read in a comment https://community.software.sil.org/t/keyboard-layout-for-different-ansi-indic-fonts/6220 that ANSI fonts have the problem, that people need to have exactly that specific font installed.
