Bug ID: 162208
Summary: "Lost" Sections in input forms in writer
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: BASIC
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
We have a Libreoffice Writer Document (odt) for entering data into a
postgresql-database.
Since the update to libreoffice-24.2.4.2, some sections are lost to the end of
the document. Before the update, the sections appeared at a fixed position.
In the Libreoffice writer document (odt) exist various sections. The sections
contain form elements (e.g. single-line text fields, selection lists, etc.).
These form elements have fixed positions which are defined relative to
paragraphs contained in the sections. The sections' visibility can be toggled
by a button, using the LO Basic function
Doc.TextSections.getByName("SectionName").IsVisible.
When toggling, the form elements lose their fixed positions. They appear all
one over the other at the document's end.
It is very annoying to scroll down the document a long way down over blank
space to the end to find the sections.
Actual Results:
The sectionsdrop down till the end of the document, seperated with a long blank
space from the rest of the input forms.
Expected Results:
the sections should appear always in a fixed place.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
