The same set of glyphs is shown e.g. using Windows CharMap. 2. ScriptForge also shows that U+030b is missing from the Cavolini fonts. What is most important is, that the fonts, instead, have U+0150 "Ohungarumlaut" LATIN CAPITAL LETTER O WITH DOUBLE ACUTE, and U+0151 "ohungarumlaut" LATIN SMALL LETTER O WITH DOUBLE ACUTE. I believe, that the engine does a normalization of the Unicode string, and finds the corresponding combined codepoint, when it doesn't find the separate glyphs. This is supported by another test: type U+0153U+030b and press Alt+X. This attempts to combine the double acute to another letter definitely present in the font, U+0153 "oe" LATIN SMALL LIGATURE OE; but what's important, this time there's no ready-made combined glyph with the double acute in the font. And the end result is, as expected, a substituted font.
