            Bug ID: 162486
Summary: I cannot change of the color of the font that I see
(WYSIWYG) no matter what I do.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
It does not matter the application within LibreOffice
It does not matter whether I change the preferences or options

I cannot highlight text, select a color, and SEE it as I am creating a document

If I save it to anyother program under any format, the changed color appears-
just not during my creation/edit

Since I rather drag my face across concrete in the summer in AZ v purchasing
another Microsquish product, LibreOffice is IT for me but for this issue- which
seems to come and go with revisions- is the "sand in the gears" for me.

Please fix this.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch LibreOffice
2.Create or select any type of document
3.Highlight a letter, word, sentence, paragraph, etc...
4.Try changing the color of the font.

Actual Results:
Nothing- nothing that is done to change the color-and see the changed color- of
highlighted/selected text, matters because nothing changes.

Expected Results:
When I select an element and apply the tools, I expect the effects of the tools
to apply to the selected elements

Reproducible: Always
