--- Comment #4 from James E. LaBarre <[email protected]> ---
Originally I had wanted it for runtimes when making compilations. Lets's see
an example of the runtimes on a CD:

1 GUILTY DIAMONDS 4:51
2 CHASING 3:59
3 Drive my Life (DJ Command Remix) 4:18
4 Kill The Night (DJ Command Remix) 4:12
5 壊されたお守り (Linjin Remix) 3:44
6 渚のぷるぷる果実♡ (MasKaleido Remix) 3:50
7 PERFECT BELIEVER (FN2 Remix) 4:39
8 不思議の国のクリスマス (MasKaleido Remix) 3:25
9 Quod Erat Demonstrandum (FN2 Remix) 4:02
10 AMNESIA (DJ Command Remix) 4:59
11 INFINITE WORLD (DJ Command Remix) 4:19
12 sing for you, pray for you 4:16
13 DIMENSION GLOW 4:06

I was trying to list items in a spreadsheet and get the total runtime (usually
it would be a much larger set)

But more recently I had needed to analyse running times for stages in testcases
(especially if comparing different runs). If I had a table of multiple runs of
a job, I'd want to total across as well as down (to then make averages by
stage). Unfortunately I no longer have my openstack test logs from my old job,
so I don't have example data from there. (I had posted this feature request
when I was still there)

But I did find how to get this to work from your example. The runtime is
essentially minutes/seconds past midnight, with the display format as MM:SS,
and the sum formatted as MM:SS as well. Still have to resolve the hack to
paste in text and have it convert to a date, but that's not relevant here.

But I still think there needs to be a "runtime" format as well as a "time"
format, as even this workaround is quite a bit of hacking the values.
