            Bug ID: 162564
Summary: Add executable shorthand definitions on Windows
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Microsoft Windows supports an app shortcut (sub)registry, named "app paths",
under

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths

in the registry. You add a subkey named "foo.exe", and the default value is the
path of the exe file (doesn't have to have the same base name). You can set the
working directory for the application and a few other settings.

I believe that, when installing LibreOffice, we should also install such app
paths for our modules. Perhaps: lowriter.exe, localc.exe, loimpress.exe etc; or
even writer.exe, calc.exe, impress.exe etc. (but the last one would conflict
with MS' calculator app).
