            Bug ID: 162613
Summary: grey-out File Save menu entry when no changes made
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
hide or grey-out the Save entry in the File menu when no changes have been made
to the document. This serves the user as an indication that a Save operation is
not currently needed. I'm on MacOS Sonoma latest with Apple M1 processor.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open an existing spreadsheet.
2.Go into the File menu.
3.If no changes have been made to the document, the "Save" entry should be
grey-out which indicates that a save operation is not currently needed.

Actual Results:
The Save operation is always available even when no changes have been made to
the current document.

Expected Results:
The Save entry in the File menu should be greyed-out when a save is not needed
because no changes have been made.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
OpenOffice Calc handles this as desired.
