            Bug ID: 162643
Summary: Libreoffice keeps crashing whenever I attempt to
change the size of the font in one section of a
                    document.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.8.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have an .odt document of 300+ pages with images and various fonts. There is
one font that was put at a size 36 that I would like to make a size smaller,
but every time I attempt to do so, Libre crashes where I need to do a force
quit. I am running a Mac M1 Sonoma with the most recent updated Libre for
Silicon. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried opening the
document in safe mode. I've also tried unticking Skia. It still crashes every
time.
I can change the type of font to whatever I want without it crashing. It only
affects the size, whether decreasing or increasing. It only does it to the one
letter and nowhere else in the document.
I've tried copy and pasting the sentence into a new document and I am able to
correct it in the new document, but when I go to paste it into the main
document, the program crashes again.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Highlight the single letter in the sentence that is a size 36.
2. Scroll to the desired size from the drop menu of font sizes.
3. Select the size, and it changes, immediately crashing.

Actual Results:
It crashes.

Expected Results:
Just changed to a smaller size.

Reproducible: Always
