I am talking about Writer here, but suggestions may apply to other apps.
Commenting is a neglected part of LibreOffice, in my experience.
Steps to Reproduce:
This is an enhancement request. There are no "steps to reproduce".
Actual Results:
1. There is no way to delete resolved comments.
2. There is no way to filter comments by author or date.
3. Replies start with "Reply to Firstname Lastname (2024-08-28, 11:43): '...'"
But this is unnecessary and cluttered.
4. Comments in the navigator pane to look the same whether they are resolved or
not.
Expected Results:
1. There needs to be a way to delete resolve comments.
2. There needs be a way to filter comments by author. Additionally, it would be
nice to be able to filter by date.
3. It would be far better to just indicate replies with formatting, which is
already done, but perhaps it could be made more clear.
4. It would be good if resolved comments could be indicated in some way and/or
hidden from the Navigation pane.
