            Bug ID: 162785
Summary: LibreOffice crashes when opening a database
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.6.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Whenever I try to open a database (one which I have used quite often), LO
crashes immediately after briefly showing an empty frame for a window. I tried
to open older (safety backups) of the file with the same result. Even 2 year
old versions of the file cause the same behaviour.
I can open the database file without problems within OpenOffice (I did not work
on the database in OO, I just checked if it can be opened *after* it didn't
work any more in LO). I accessed the database last on 14th of August, so maybe
it's related to an update.
Funny: Even if I create a new database, LO crashes as soon as I want to save
it. I just had created the database as Embedded HSQLDB, clicked on "complete"
(or similar, in German it says "Fertigstellen") gave the name Test.odb and
clicked on save. Bang, LO crashed. The file was saved however. After restarting
LO, I tried to open the newly created database, and LO behaved as before, it
crashed when trying to open the database.
I tried different Java Runtime versions, that didn't change anything. I tried
LO in protected mode (=no user profile), that didn't change anything.
So LO is determined to crash when a database is to be opened.

Please don't ask me to send you the database. I can't send it, because it
contains priviledged information. It doesn't make sense anyway, since it even
happens with an newly created database.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an existing database
2.
3.

Actual Results:
LO crashes

Expected Results:
LO opens the database
