Bug ID: 162877
Summary: [FILESAVE] Impress corrupts slide background image
information on saving any ODP format.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.2.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When saving as ODP or Flat ODP, Impress will corrupt the slides' background
image information. Saving as another format, such as PPTX, does not cause this
problem.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a presentation in Impress.
2. In master slide, set a background image.
3. Create a new master slide and apply it to a new slide.
4. Set a background image for the new master slide, or on either of the slides,
individually. In other words, make sure the slides are using different
backgrounds (either on the individual slide or on the master).
5. Save the file and close it.
6. Reopen the file.
Actual Results:
Whatever image was last set for any slide, will replace the image on the master
slides and on all slides, regardless of what you set elsewhere.
Expected Results:
Slide background information is saved as usual, without corruption.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:

Note: Profile reset not needed to test - this happens across Flatpak, Snap,
native install, and on Windows. Also, this is not the first time this bug has
cropped up, so this may be a regression.
