Well, now you've seen it. It signifies hidden overflow, as explained by Áron in
comment 4. Probably you have not seen it, because when you create a new frame
in Writer, the AutoSize option is active.

I don't see why it shouldn't be indicated. Exactly in the case of the files in
this report it is useful.
