from.ods

I have to files "from.ods" and "to.ods".

I want to copy table A9:G106 from file "from.ods" to file "to.ods" starting at
cell A8 and want to save all text after 9 row in file "to.ods".

What should I do?
1. I copy the table into clipboard with "Ctrl+C" from file "from.ods".
2. Now, I can't press "Ctrl+V" in second file "to.ods" because lines starts
from A9 will be overwritten and that's not what I want.
So, I press right mouse button on cell A8, press "Insert as...", select option
"Move cells ... down" and get the error "Can't insert cells...".

3. Ok, I select cells A8:G8, because I have 7 columns in "from.ods".
Then, I press right mouse button on A8, press "Insert as...", select option
"Move cells ... down" and again get the error "Can't insert cells...".

4. Next try: I select cells A8:H8 ( 8 columns, more than my table has )
Then, I press right mouse button on A8, press "Insert as...", select option
"Move cells ... down"
and... get what I want, I just need to delete last column.
