I downloaded and installed LibreOffice_6.0.0.1_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz It looks like there are much fewer bars. I saw 1 instead of 4 or 5. I am seeing 4 or 5 with LO 24.8.1.2 If you don't see the bars, just make the document longer. Use copy and paste. Save the file. Close and reopen the file and check for bars. This also effects the Find function (Ctrl-F).
