The layout mockups are in themselves sufficient to make a decision: I need an actual slide laid out in the existing layout and the new layout, then I can tell when I think they're better. Also, it's theoretically possible I (or anybody else) would like some of the layouts, and disapprove of other layouts. Too bad more people have noticed this bug before!
