Bug ID: 163162
Summary: Conditional formatting in Calc vanish after saving in
LibreOffice 24.8.x (tested in Linux and Windows)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.0.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
If you have a conditional formatting in Calc (in my case conditional
formatting->Icon Set->3 arrows) when saving in LibreOffice 24.8.x and then open
it will be gone. This didn't happen in any of LibreOffice 24.4.x, conditional
formatting was preserved after saving and opening.
Interestingly enough, open the file saved with LibreOffice 24.8.1 and then open
it in LibreOffice 24.4.6, the conditional formatting shows as should be.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make conditional formatting (example conditional formatting->Icon Set->3
arrows)
2. Save file
3. Open the file in Calc 24.8.x, conditional formatting won't show
4. open the file in Calc 24.4.x, conditional formatting will show as expected
Actual Results:
Conditional formatting won't show
Expected Results:
Conditional formatting should show as applied
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I have tested on Linux and Windows, it show the same issue. Opening a file with
conditional formatting in Calc 24.4.x which was previously saved in Calc
24.8.x shows the conditional formatting as expected.
This imply that the loading files with conditional formatting in Calc 24.8.x
are not processed correctly in Calc 24.8.x.
In my case when conditional formatting->Icon Set->3 arrows is applied, after
opening the file in Calc 24.8.x. sets conditions to = instead of <, = and >. If
you correct it, it will show as it should, but after saving and opening again,
it is is not shown.
