1. Create a sheet with enough lines to scroll well out of the viewport
2. select cell A1
3. press shift+down-arrow to start selecting cells.
if you release the keys while the selection is still in the viewport, it works
correctly.
If you hold the keys down until the viewport is forced to scroll, then release
the keys, the scrolling (and selection) continues.
