Works for me, but be aware Adobe Reader requires you use the 'Fill & Sign' tool to add text to the PDFs textbox fields. Other PDF readers (eg. Okular, Chrome, FF, Edge) recognize as a form and directly allow text entry into the fields. And of course once the PDF form is exported from Writer, it is no longer editable in Writer as an ODF.
