            Bug ID: 163281
Summary: Sum function in LibreOffice comes back with a large
negative number in scientific notation rather than 0
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
This is happening in a LibreOffice document we have been using for a few years
now. This is a ledger we use for finances. We found that after using a value
larger than 2911 (on September 29), if we brought the value down to zero
(October 3, so a few cells later) it would come back with a number similar to
-6.537E13. But we looked through the math and everything is added or subtracted
down to the cent. If I were to follow the ledger with a calculator I get 0, but
LibreOffice Calc reads the scientific notation instead. I have not found any
incorrect numbers or added punctuation and the function used is a simple C40 =
B40 + C39.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In an early cell have a value larger than 2911 (in our case it is 3200)
2.Only happening in the one row. But in that row anytime I add or subtract to
get to 0 it will give me scientific notation of a much larger value.

Actual Results:
Actual results are -6.537E13 in this cell. But If I try to split the 3200 up
from one cell to another then I get a different value.

Expected Results:
Expected result is 0. The math is not complicated and it has worked in this
spreadsheet for a few years.

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
If a copy of the spreadsheet would help I can send it. Otherwise I can show a
screenshot of the issue. I don't know if this is a bug, but I don't see any
math or formatting issues.
