Priority: medium
Bug ID: 65735
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FILESAVE - Can't save new files: "Save As" window
always reopens
Severity: critical
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.0.beta2
Component: Libreoffice
Product: LibreOffice
With the 4.1 nightly from today [1], unzipped to the Desktop and run from
there, I can't seem to save new files. (I am on Windows 8, x86)
How to reproduce:
#1 Open [Your user folder]\Desktop\LibreOfficeDev4\program\soffice.exe
#2 Start a new text file (or presentation or spreadsheet)
#3 Write something (optional)
#4 Go to File > Save As...
#5 (If not already chosen, choose a folder in your home directory),
type a file name
#6 Click "Save" button
#7 Repeat #6 indefinitely, as Save As window always reopens
Clearly, #7 shouldn't happen. Unsure if this maybe only happens because I
unzipped the build to the desktop -- I didn't have such trouble with the 4.2
nightly from today.
Also note that I can open and then write to existing files in the same folder.
