Priority: medium
Bug ID: 65751
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Multiple paragraph text object animation
cannot be applied to the whole object anymore, only
separately to each paragraph
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.3.3 release
Component: Presentation
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When you create a text object in Impress, and it has 2 or more paragraphs, if
you set an animation for it it is automatically applied to each paragraph, not
to the whole object.
In other words, during the presentation you will have to click one for each
paragraph to appear.
This default would be acceptable if you could be able to change the object
animation settings and have the animation working for the whole object only, if
needed; you should open the object properties and set the "group text" option
in the "animated text" subpage to "as a single object" (I am sorry if these
commands actually sound a little different, I am translating them from the
Italian release).
however this is no more possible: the small button to open the properties
dialog window is not active (which is a bug in itself: why it shouldn't?).
You can avoid this problem by double clicking on the item in the animation
list: however, when you do as above and choose "as a single object" as the
"group text" option, when you hit Ok to close the dialog window, the animation
item DISAPPEAR altogether from the list!!!
Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.3.3 release
