On this device, after test in safe mode, I renamed the directory %AppData%\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user and tested again -> no crash. Will test it later on the other device too. For now it looks like the former profile didn't fully fit with the updated LO and letting LO re-create a new one solved the problem.
