Issue of OP was => WF, i.e. provide no "warning" of a bleed-over of find configs. Instead behavior between the search widgets seems correctly isolated now as suggested in comment 6, and to finish what was bug 62601 and agreed by UX-design around bug 72080, with Jim's commit https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/131569 I would say this can be resolved fixed for a 25.2 release. The 'Find bar' quick search, and the 'Find and Replace' dialog now isolated, but one or the other controlling the SB Navigator "Repeat search" behavior. Some consideration probably now needed as to search configs of the *new* Sidebar Find deck--which currently defaults to a simple string search for its hits. @Jim, Ok to close? Or were there remaining glitches re your comment 7? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
