--- Comment #14 from Jim Avera <[email protected]> --- No need to apologize, I should apologize for posting user-error noise to this bug. It turns out I installed the x86 debs on an x86_x64 system. It turns out that trying to run an i386 executable on an amd64 system results in an error saying the executable file is "file not found" (in the case of LO, 'oosplash' is the executable called by the soffice wrapper script). Maybe that misleading message has something to do with the dynamic linker...? Anyway, I purged all lo-related packages and re-installed the x86_64 debs, and they now run okay. However, the bug is still there. I'll attach an updated screenshot. The "About" box says Version: 4.1.0.0.beta2+ Build ID: 55689d877d1f216efce2d05448442b088aec980 TinderBox: Linux-x86_64@31-Release-Configuration-RHEL5-Baseline, Branch:libreoffice-4-1, Time: 2013-06-13_08:39:37 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
