When a media or sound file is inserted into an Impress slide, the Media
Playback window immediately opens. This window is placed in the top left corner
of the display and cannot be moved to a new position and cannot be closed. This
window also stays on top of all LibreOffice windows.
Closing LibreOffice does not close this Media Playback window. When you open a
presentation LIbreOffice again and open a presentation that does not contain a
media or sound file, this window still opens and stays on top of all
LibreOffice windows.
The Media Playback toolbar can still be opened, used and closed with out any
problems.
This bug only happens in a Linux operating system. I am using the latest
version of Ubuntu on a Toshiba laptop.
