Yes I think that too. When the author and time-stamp information started to
show up in all comments from version 7.6.x then I was thinking that I will stay
on LibreOffice 7.5.9.2 for a really long time as I have a lot of comments that
then started to be overlapped by other elements like buttons. See bug:

but then I saw in LibreOffice 24.8.2.1 that an checkbox in settings had been
added that can hide that information.

The checkbox is located in settings at:
Tools - Options - LibreOffice Calc - View - Display - "Comment Authorship".

The width problem of the comment when opening the file is still there though
even when that checkbox is deselected in 24.8.2.1.

I think I saw the problem reported on some other forum a long time ago and I
really tried to see if it was reported here before posting the bug but I could
not find any report of it.
