bug 148593 comment 6:

These kinds of combinations-of-controls with tex must form _coherent
sentences_.  This stands out even more when we place the controls horizontally,
visually forming that sentence (which I kind of like). Let us read from the
mockup:

  "Horizontal: Position paragraph area from left 0.0 cm"

What does that even mean? Even if we add the column title of the last column,
it's still:

  "Horizontal: Position paragraph area from left with offset 0.0 cm"

and I have no idea what this means:

* What is "positioning from left"? That's not gramattically-valid English IIANM
* Left of what? Are positioning the paragraph's left edge or positioning it to
the left of something?
* Offset of what, from what?

Re-laying-out of controls must also be accompanied by changing the labels and
possibly the semantics to match them.
