All other style categories share the semantics of: * Formatting a styled entity does not affect its (named) style * The Format menu refers to the entity itself, not its style * Different entities with the same named style can be formatted differently and only page sequences fail to obey this IIANM. As for the effect on users - myself, Teleso and jan d note the effect. It should also be mentioned that MS Word does not use the same paradigm we currently do; theirs is a completely different approach, with no named page sequence styles at all, but there too, you are not put in a situation of "spooky action at a distance", where you are trying to just format the current page and end up affecting some pages you don't even remember are related. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
