--- Comment #12 from [email protected] --- Having recently worked on a file locking mecanism for a older legacy Java program, I came to think about a possible reasons for this strange LibreOffce behaviour, that file contents seems to be read before and after saving. Could it be that the LO framwork for saving document requires to check something like last modified date of the file on disk before and after writing, and for some reason (bug?) this iniates a file read operation for the whole document.
