OK, with that hint I can confirm it on a 24.8.2.1 release build on Windows. The
File -> Properties... dialog's 'Description' tab's "Comments:" field opens
overly wide and the dialog width can not be reduced.

However I can not confirm on current master against the 25.2.0 release. I
believe that patch for bug 160937 [1] now provides all os/DE with reasonable
width and scrollbar for very long "Comments" text.

@Heiko, was there a backport needed/planned for 24.8.3?
