Bug ID: 65860
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Writer is unable depict superscript or subscript
Severity: critical
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.0.beta2
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Created attachment 80950

Shows how superscript and subscript are handled in Writer
Problem: If I turn some text to superscript or subscript, the text is only
reduced in size and then placed INLINE with the bottom line of the normal text.
* Even superscript is settled at bottom like this (not raised beyond the
topline)
* The subscript does not sink below the bottomline of normal script.
The same problem also happens when I insert a footnote (its marker should
appear like a superscript, but it does not.)
Attaching a document. I have included a screenshot of what I see, so that you
can compare with what you can see...
Note: Bug#64685 mentions that a similar/same problem is resolved and verified
in 4.1 alpha, but I am still getting the issue in 4.1.0.0 beta2.
