--- Comment #1 from Heiko Tietze <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 197469 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=197469&action=edit Mockup 1) Personalization (which could be renamed to "Theme") supersedes Application Colors and Appearance from View (see #3) 2) Selection of a theme starts from a list of presets shared via extensions; it includes a "Default", which is not removable and just offers automatic colors 3) The appearance formerly located under View is picks the light or the dark color from the preset, or follows light/dark as triggered by the OS 4a) Items can be fine-tuned with different colors or, if applicable, an image that either is stretched or tiled on the canvas 4b) if the item has no image capability, eg. in case of simple lines, we hide the controls; some items can be toggled on/off here but I'd rather move those all to other places The XML could list <name> <light> <dark> <image> <option> and take colors from the OS, if a value is omitted. Meaning Default would be more or less empty. Since changing the theme needs to be possible it must not be readonly, but we offer a "Reset to Default" for all items (as context menu, see #2) or individually next to color, #4a. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
