It's just a wild guess, but in the videos LibreOffice is acting like it isn't able to keep up with the flood of mouse dragged events. So, LibreOffice skips many painting timers and just does processing of the backlog of events until the event queue is empty. Then all of the painting timers finally fire and the UI is updated. But it looks like we both have roughly the same hardware and the fix works on my machine but not yours. Maybe some other application or system service is hogging CPU, GPU, and/or some other system resource on your machine?
