Thank you for mentioning a possible Graphics Driver issue. At the motherboard
website I found an updated Graphics Driver, installed it, and Skia is working
fine now with LibreOffice. Should say that this is a brand new PC, which I am
still testing out, but the builders in their delivery technical notices said
that they installed all the latest drivers for the system; this now turns out
to be false information. And, according to the Asus website, I have several
other drivers I need to install. In any case, many thanks for your advice. :0)

However, to help me try and solve the conundrum over how LibreOffice is getting
incorrect information for my install of Windows 11 Pro. could you please tell
me *where* LibreOffice actually gets that information on the system from? I
don't think I'll manage to puzzle that out myself.
