hi,
To make it short:
we should have a window-tab in the OPTIONS menu where we could decide
where we want tooltips and where we don't.
For example, in the styles pane
(VIEW / Styles (or f11)
The tooltips are super-annoying.
But simply turning them off wouldn't be good for all situations.
Recent files.
How great it would be to see tooltips with the path of the file...
like "this_document" and the tooltip: "home/username/directory"
I mean, sometimes tooltips are great, sometimes they are annoying.
This is why we should be able to set it in the OPTIONS menu
at "OPTIONS / Libreoffice Writer"
