This will break down the APK into its constituent files and directories. 3 Once decompiled, navigate to the res directory where the resource files are stored. 4 Delete the files you want to remove from the res directory. 5 After making your changes, use APKTool to recompile the APK. 6 The recompiled APK needs to be signed with a valid certificate.
