BogdanB <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|Doubletten vermeiden |Avoid duplicates CC| |[email protected] | |g --- Comment #2 from BogdanB <[email protected]> --- Description: Hello, my Lexware F+A can't do it, and I haven’t found it in any LO Base books either: duplicate avoidance. That is, preventing records referring to the same person from being entered twice. For each new customer, I have to manually check my customer table to see if the person already exists, possibly with a different spelling. Duplicates can become terribly annoying when cleaning up data. Would this be something for the "Database Tasks" section in the accompanying materials? Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a customer. 2. Do something else. 3. Create the customer again. 4. Wonder why duplicates occurred. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
