--- Comment #4 from [email protected] --- Yes please. Having deletions in the margin is very useful. Even necessary, I would say, to avoid changing the flow of the document with old text. But the current implementation is incomplete. I would say there should be a tooltip showing a large number of characters. Additionally, when right-clicking there should be the usual accept/reject options. Additionally, there could be a right-click option to view the full deleted text in a separate window or something, if it is too big to fit in the tooltip. Additionally or alternatively, in the Manage Changes sidebar, one should be able to hover over any part of a deletion row, or at least over the deletion icon, to see the full deletion, and/or right-click or double click to view the full deletion. Honestly the comment column isn't really necessary if this is implemented. I don't like that the comment column requires so much more horizontal space, and on top of that it adds a horizontal scroll bar just to scroll over half an inch to see slightly more of what was deleted than what is shown in the document margin. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
