            Bug ID: 164161
Summary: Writer: Editing text in one window causes text to jump
                    in other window
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Say you are editing a multi-page text where you need to edit text on page 1 by
reading text on page 3.
You open 2 Writer windows side-by-side on your screen (because Writer has no
split window feature). The left window shows your page 1 and the right window
shows your page 3.
Start typing in page 1. At some point, when you've added a few lines on page 1,
the content in the second window will jump out. That's because by typing text
on page 1 you've pushed down content on page 3 to page 4.
Consequence: your second window no longer shows you the text that you needed to
see.
It would have been easy to keep showing the same text and simply increment the
page number on page 3 to 4.
So editing text with 2 Writer windows open constantly requires scrolling back
the second window into position.
It's a user interface annoyance. A bug.
