--- Comment #2 from Steve B <[email protected]> --- Yes, that does. However, when the File menu is pulled down when no changes have been made, the "Save" function is still apparently enabled, whereas in OpenOffice it is greyed out (disabled) because no changes have been made, while the "Save As..." function remains enabled. My thought is that it would seem better to me to have Calc also grey out that "Save" menu entry in the "File" menu so that behavior is similar to how OpenOffice handles it. The red dot on the "Save" icon is useful and I hadn't noticed that before you mentioned it, but in order to work the same as OpenOffice shouldn't the File menu also get modified when a "Save" operation isn't needed because no changes have been made to the document? That's a very minor change I'll grant you, but I just thought it would be better in maintaining the interface similar to how OpenOffice handles it. (If LibreOffice is trying to be the same or similar to Microsoft Office Calc I'm not sure how it is handled there as I don't have MS Office.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
