In LO 7.6+, there is now the absolutely fantastic: - Format > Spotlight > Character Direct Formatting This highlights all the messy Direct Formatting hiding inside your document. (For example, doing that on your attached ODT file, you'll see that entire 1st paragraph "Vestibulum neque massa, scelerisque sit amet [...]" will light up in gray.) You can then: 1. Highlight the problematic area. 2.
