My gut feeling is that there is some packaging problem on LO side. Let me explain: When I launch `libreofficedev25.2` (Build ID: 869fff459cbee6a2edadd5c24f2b65c199712de6) on command line, and try to create LO Writer document I get the following: ``` kjambunathan@debian-ng:~$ libreofficedev25.2 warn:i18nlangtag:864381:864381:i18nlangtag/source/languagetag/languagetag.cxx:1670: LanguageTag::getRegionFromLangtag: pRegionT==NULL for 'hyph-nn-NO' warn:i18nlangtag:864381:864381:i18nlangtag/source/languagetag/languagetag.cxx:1438: LanguageTagImpl::convertLocaleToLang: with bAllowOnTheFlyID invalid 'hyph-nn-NO' warn:i18nlangtag:864381:864381:i18nlangtag/source/languagetag/languagetag.cxx:1670: LanguageTag::getRegionFromLangtag: pRegionT==NULL for 'hyph-nb-NO' warn:i18nlangtag:864381:864381:i18nlangtag/source/languagetag/languagetag.cxx:1438: LanguageTagImpl::convertLocaleToLang: with bAllowOnTheFlyID invalid 'hyph-nb-NO' Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix> Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix> Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>] warn:sal.osl:864381:864381:sal/osl/unx/module.cxx:100: dlopen(/opt/libreofficedev25.2/program/libjava_gcc3.so, 257): /opt/libreofficedev25.2/program/libjava_gcc3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory warn:sal.osl:864381:864381:sal/osl/unx/module.cxx:100: dlopen(/opt/libreofficedev25.2/program/libgcc3_java.so, 257): /opt/libreofficedev25.2/program/libgcc3_java.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory warn:legacy.tools:864381:864381:sfx2/source/control/bindings.cxx:1776: No cache for OfficeDispatch! warn:sal.file:864381:864381:sal/osl/unx/file_misc.cxx:659: Invalid file URL warn:sal.file:864381:864381:sal/osl/unx/file_misc.cxx:659: Invalid file URL warn:unotools.config:864381:864381:unotools/source/config/configmgr.cxx:147: ConfigManager not empty ```` I see the above message IRRESPECTIVE of what GNOME DE variant I use. The above messages DO show up even if I nuke my config and profile. FWIW, the LO that ships with Debian doesn't spew out above messages. For the sake of completion, and to answer your question, I do NOT see the `Apply` and `Close` buttons on my regular GNOME DE (or any of GNOME DE variants `GNOME Classic` `GNOME Classic on Xorg` etc etc) SESSION_MANAGER=local/debian-ng:@/tmp/.ICE-unix/855788,unix/debian-ng:/tmp/.ICE-unix/855788 GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID=this-is-deprecated DESKTOP_SESSION=gnome XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP=gnome XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME XDG_SESSION_CLASS=user GDMSESSION=gnome DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:path=/run/user/1000/bus > Then can you try a bibisect with the bibisect-linux-64-25.2 repository? > https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect/Linux#Versions > I went a step further and tried building LO. The build was runnning for 6 hours and it did NOT finish at all. I believe my laptop is not fit for building or re-building the LO. I understand that bibisect checks out pre-built binaries, and I am afraid that they would be large downloads and laborious. I am sorry to say, I do NOT want to take this route. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
